The show

Everything begins with a slow sliding motion. Words fall apart to create new ones and their meaning is lost. The thread of thought is abandoned. And then comes the fall of a body that never ends, a fall reminiscent of a flight.

The soloist dancer is Michèle Anne De Mey and AMOR is a choreographic and visual journey to the other side of the mirror. Inspired by the world of Lewis Carroll, this production takes the audience into an imaginary, poetic and luminous fall.

In the press

The dance simply levitates, it borrows from a new kind of magic.
Le Soir
Amor translates the extraordinary into a series of tableaux in which Jaco’s creative images marry Michèle Anne’s movements: now pure and joyous, now suspended in a splendid scene of levitation, at times overwhelmingly fragile.
La Libre Belgique
The power of the dancer’s experience makes her beautiful and proud, calm and serene. A state of grace sublimated by her director lover, who makes us realise that Amor is stronger than death.
L'Echo
A unique experience lived by the choreographer and dancer Michèle Anne De Mey. Her partner Jaco Van Dormael has placed himself at the service of her emotions…
